Physics is one of the most conceptual subjects in science. Without having a strong hold on all the concepts you cannot excel in this subject. Apart from strong fundamentals you should have a strong hold in the field of Mathematics because Physics and Mathematics are two interrelated branches of science. You should have a strong concept in calculus area this will help you in understanding the higher level physics.
So if you want to pursue your graduation in Physics then you should have good conceptual clarity on all subjects and have good command over Mathematics.
