Hello Aspirant ,
A student can give JEE Mains total of three times and these three times have to be consecutive with first attempt starting in class 12 and the next two after class 12 in the span of one year .
So if you are currently in class 12 you can give JEE Mains this year(2022) , next year(2023) and a year after next year.(2024).You have to be in class 12 or already passed it to be eligible to give JEE Mains .
Hope this helps.
Hi, hope you are doing well.
In order to be eligible for JEE Main 2022, you need to pass class 12 or any other equivalent qualifying examination in 2020 or 2021. You are eligible even if you are applying for the qualifying examination in 2022. There is no age limit for this examination. If you are appearing for B.Tech or B.E in JEE Main 2022, the compulsory subjects in Class 12 should be Physics, Mathematics and any one among Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject. For B.Arch in JEE Main exam, you must have Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in Class 12. For B.Plan, you must have Mathematics in Class 12.
Moreover, you must have qualified in five subjects in Class 12, namely Language, Mathematics, Physics,
Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject and any other subject. You can appear for JEE Main exam for 3 consecutive years.
If you want to get admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs, in case of B.Tech, you should have scored a minimum of 75 percent marks in general category and 65 percent in SC or ST or should be under top 20 percentile in the boards. In case of B.Arch, you have to score 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12.
