To get admission in B.Tech Course there are National Institutes like IIT's, NIT's, CFTI's. To get admission in these government colleges you have to appear for Paper 1 of Joint Entrance Examination (Mains and Advance) which is also known as JEE Mains and Advance. Based upon your rank in the paper you will get the institution by JOSAA Counselling process. Not only government colleges but these days top private institutions of India like Thapar University, LNMIIT, JAYPEE University, etc admit students on the basis of rank obtained in JEE Mains. There are seperate Examinations for Private Universities like LPU, VIT, BITS, Manipal, etc. You can also take admission in state university affiliated colleges by appearing in state engineering entrance examination.

There are no. Of colleges all over India providing the education of engineering by b.tech course. It deoends on which entrance exam yiu have given. If yiu have given jee then you can get admission in various N8Ts and IITs. Other than this there are various universities who conduct their own entrance exam and there are various state level entrance exams through which you can get various colleges.

Hello harsh, hope you are doing well.. so, you can get admission for btech where you wish too... it depends upon the entrance marks and 12th marks.. you can either apply for private college or you can apply for government college.. the admission also will be based upon the castes structure... also every year the cut off do change
