Sorry to inform you that till now there are no colleges that gives admission in BSc Astrophysics with the class 12 merit. Some of the renowned institutes provided below gives admission only on the basis of entrances and a basic marks required for 10+2.

The institutes famous for the course:

  • Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore
  • Institute of Fundamental Research, Tamil Nadu
  • JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad
  • Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences, Pilani
  • Institute of Fundamental Research, Tamil Nadu
  • Andhra University

Now you can get admission in Bsc Physics course through CBSE results. And after you MSc you can opt for various entrances in order to get admission in MSc or Integrated Msc PhD courses in Astrophysics in great institutes like IUCAA, TIFR, IISC etc. Also IIT Indore has a great MSc in astronomy program which will be a great course if you are interested in.

I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
