As you ask about in which stream ..you should take admission after your diploma....... so it is all depend upon you and your interest in which field you are passionate  as your career as if you are interested in computer science or coding then you should go for B.Tech computer science ..

and if you are interested in mechanics and other automobiles then you should go for mechanical and so on .....  as it didn't mention the branch of your diploma it is hard for us to recognise your interest...

Actually your question is not clear.You can get admission in btech engineering college through diplomo.The best stream to join in the btech college will be based on the entrance exam i.e.,eacet .You caj choose the better cource if you can score good marks in tue entrance exam.
