hi vikaswh,

industrial engineering is very importan to running a manufacturing company. there are many psus which recruit through gate exam. if u have a valid gate score u can apply for this psu's. but every year the seats are varying according to no of vacancy. MDL, iocl, bhel, ecil they recruit through gate.

Hello sir,Is industrial engineering and,Industrial & systems engineering are same ? Because only in IIT KHARAGPUR Industrial and systems engineering is exist ?

both are not completely same. industrial engineering deals with manufacturing process. it mainly focus on design and operation of manufacturing process of industry. but industrial and system engineering is a combination industrial engineering and management science. also there is some information technology related subjects are included. But both of the stream can apply for gate in industrial engineering domain.
