Industrial safety is the perfect branch for you if you are interested in placement and want to join some industry. As mentioned in previous answer the faculty members are mostly visiting faculty coming from BHEL, Bunge, CLRI and IIT Madras so you will be taught by faculties with vast industrial experience.

You will get chances of industrial visit around the campus which is really a very good practice and will help you during your placement interviews.

About placements, so yes placement is very good here for industrial Safety.

Placement is very good and you can expect a good company. You can select NIT Trichy above some IITs if you are focusing on placement. NIT Trichy has an impressive placement record.

If you are planning to go in research field, I would advise you to go for some IIT.
