It has lots of scope like you can opt for optician showrooms show eye doctors, Contact Lens and Ophthalmic lens industry, hospital Eye departments etc. You can also seek employment with any multinational organization dealing with eye care products as professional services executives or take up teaching as a career.

B.Sc. in Optometry is a full time 3 year undergraduate course. It is divided by six semesters.
It is consists of basic physical and life sciences, the optometric sciences including optics, ocular anatomy and physiology, visual science , ophthalmic optics, ocular pathology and diseases of the eye and visual system.
Neet examination is not mandatory for this. Candidates have to pass EYECET for study in this course. The minimum criteria for this is, student have to pass 10+2th level examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

B.Sc. Optometry is a 4 year undergraduate course where the first three years is the theoretical learning period which is followed by 12 months compulsory internship. Students must pass their 10+2 exam with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Aspirants must qualify the centralised common entrance test namely EYECET. By qualifying this exam candidates prove their aptitude to pursue the aforementioned course.
