Information technology Vs CSE branch of NIT's

If you plan to go on for the computer side only, then I'd like to tell you that the CSE branch is better in every way, in terms of faculty, placement or the type of students.
You should keep CSE only as your target. However, if that doesn't happen then the 2nd best branch is IT.
