Dear Student,
internal exam is the exam that is usually conducted by the faculty of your school, college or university. The papers for the internal exam is set by the faculty and also corrected by the faculty. However in an external exam, the are papers set and corrected by the faculty of another school, college or university.
Hey,
The basic difference between these two is the marks. Generally in college internal exams are also termed as Class test, assignment etc are of lesser marks than your external exams. The internal exams are the small test when compared to external exams as your main exam. The ratio of marks between these two may be of 3:8 or anything as per the college alignments.
Hope this helps.
