Ionic bonds are not real bond-Explain in this question i have many confusion so please explain with details.and have clearful meanings
Hey!
Ionic bonds are formed by the complete transfer of the valance electrons from one atom to another atom. One which recieves electron forms negaively charged anion while other forms cation by loosing electrons with a positive charge. This is not called real bond or are called pseudo bonds because of the creation of electrostatic attraction alone.
Hope it helps to clear your delimma.
