Both the colleges carry brand equity with them in terms of management studies which includes both a better infrastructure and faculties. SMD Institute of Management and Development has better average package per annum when compared with IPE Hyderabad. The median salary of IPE Hyderabad for the year 2018 is 4,65,000 p.a. whereas that of SMDIMD Mysore is 6,90,000 p.a. The fee structure of both the institute for PGDM is invariably the same. So, now the decisive factor among both the colleges is the location. IPE being located in an industrial area will provide more opportunities and better interface for internship opportunities.
