In order to qualify for NEET , candidates need to have achieved a minimum passing percentage in their Class 12 exams to be eligible to sit for the NEET exam. The governing body has established the eligibility criteria as follows: 50% for the unreserved category, 40% for OBC/SC/ST, and PWD categories combined in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their 12th standard exams.
No, 12th marks are not important to get admission in MBBS course. But, it is necessary that candidate must have scored the minimum required percentage in PCB in 12th to appear for NEET examination i.e. UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45%. But during the time of admission or counselling there is no weightage given to class 12 marks.
While in NEET examination the cut-off percentile is 50 which means that you need to score approximately 360 or above in order to get admission to MBBS in a government college. A s core of 550 in NEET is considered as a good score. Aspirants aiming for top medical colleges should aim for 600+ score.

It is not necessary for the candidate to get admission in any medical college based on his class 12th results. But, in order to appear for the neet examinations you need to score at least 50% marks if you are a general candidate, 40% marks if you belong to category fishes other backward classes/ scheduled tribes/ scheduled caste Class, and minimum 45% if you belong to PWD category.

Yes class 12th marks are important because that will determine whether you will be eligible to appear for NEET or not because as per the eligibility criteria for NEET one needs to have minimum 50% aggregate in PCB and should also have passed in English subject so you are definitely eligible according to the percentage criteria if you are able to do so but note that there are some other criterion which you need to follow in order to be eligible for NEET :-
** You should also have passed in English subject.
** Your age should not be less than 17 years as on December 31st of the examination year.
** You should have passed your class 12th from any recognized central/state board of education.
If all above eligibility criteria are fulfilled by you then you can appear for NEET UG.
