Hi

You have not mentioned your category so I am considering you general category student

It's quite difficult to make prediction but yes as per previous year trends, with 160 mark your rank will be  around 7000 ,for this rank vs marks vs percentile you can refer to our page for which link is provided below:-

These above  rank / percentile are just estimated rank and percentile, the actual rank/ percentile will vary a bit as above prediction is on the basis of past year trends but rank /percentile  keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination for different shifts of the exam etc

Also,

You can predict your rank using rank predictor at

And yes, 160 marks is  good score to get into NITs and IIITs, with 160 marks with predicted 7000 rank,  you have chances in NITs  and IIITs, for example you have chances in

  • Nit bhopal :- Computer Science and Engineering

  • Nit silchar :- Computer Science and Engineering

  • IIITM Gwalior :- Computer Science and Engineering

  • IIIT Kalyani, West Bengal;- Computer Science and Engineering

And more

For this you can refer to our page for which link is provided below:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-top-btech-branches

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination etc so to have a clear picture of the colleges in which you have chances and to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our jee main college predictor at

Now that,

You are going to appear for jee mains 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,

  • go through mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.
