Is 3 years sr ship mandatory after ms /md or we can directly apply for jobs without sr ship?

Dear Aspirant,
No 3 year sr ship is not mandatory. After MD/MS degree course in the subject concerned, one year SR ship is mandatory for the post of Assistant Professor in the subject concerned.
