Is 420 marks enough to get a medical seat in government college in tamilnadu and i am a Sc candidate..?
Dear student,
NEET is one of the toughest exam all over India. Every year more than 15 lakh students register and appear in the exam.
Having said that the competition is also increasing rapidly. In this case it is very uncertain and unpredictable to say anything at this moment as the selection and college depends upon the rank and marks.
Yes, some privileges is given according to the state and category(gen/obc/sc/st) but that also does not make any huge difference.
420 is a good mark but outstanding among lakh of student you need to have a safe score which is around 550-600.
As we look at the previous year's record in Tamil nadu also the competition has taken a rise. So 420 would be a less mark to grab a seat in MBBS course in government college but yes you can surely look for other courses such as BAMS, B.U.M.S, BDS, BHMS etc.
In addition to this you can predict your rank and colleges according to your expected score on the link given below
