Is 60 percent is enough to get admission in medical colleges??
See you have to score upto minimum 70 percent in the NEET examination so as to get into any government medical college across the country by appearing from the NEET examination 60 percent as such can be said to be a good score but it's not relevant to say it to be as sufficient so just try to score good in the NEET examination.

Hello Sayan Kumar Deb,
IF you are talking about 60% in 12th boards, then it is quite enough to make you eligible to appear for the NEET. You need to have 50% minimum marks in 12th boards which is the basis eligibility criteria set by the conducting authority.
But if you are talking about 60% in NEET, then I must say that you have to raise your limit and have to score atleast 550+ marks to get a MBBS seat in government medical college.
Hope this might helps you.
All the Best.
The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination.
For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination must be minimum 40% instead of 50% for General candidates.
Further, for persons for locomotor disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required.
Hope it helps you.
