Yes, Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 60% and above in Maths/Biology, Chemistry and Physics in 10+2 or equivalent examination. However, the minimum percentage marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states is 50%.

Qualifying exam
He/She must have passed 10+2 from CBSE, ICSE or any state board
OR
Students should have passed Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University
High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva
General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/ Cambridge/ Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
Regular NIOS board candidates are also eligible for VITEEE 2022. They will be needed to produce the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate at the time of joining.
Marks needed in qualifying exam
He/She must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam.

viteee educational eligibility criteria is as follows:----
Candidates should have a minimum average of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Biology or Biotechnology (PCB) in 10+2 or equivalent examination. since your pcm aggregate is above 60% you are eligible to apply.
So according to me it is necessary to score 60% marks in 12th.
