If you complete your 12th board exams in 2021 then you can attempt the JEE entrance exam for the year 2021, 2022, 2023. Hence you can't appear for the JEE 2024 as it's 4 th consecutive year. And for JEE mains 2021 you can attempt 4 times this year. The compulsory 75% criteria was removed in jee mains for admission to iit/nit/gfti/iiit for the year 2020 and 2021 due to the covid pandemic situation in the country. If the situation gets bacl to normal till next year then it is expected that this criteria will be again made compulsory. As per the latest notification, the NTA has removed 75% marks criteria from the minimum eligibility percentage norms. However when it comes to JEE Mains Arch & Planning candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics along with 50% aggregate in the overall examination. You won't get admission in nits and iits if you don't score above 75% above board. Jee main score is else valid for all other colleges. But your admission depends on criteria of a particular college. Generally, candidates are required to have 75% or more in their class 12 final exams or they should be in the top 20 percentile in order to avail admission into the IITs, NITs, and GFTIs. No, you will not be eligible for admission in NITs/IIITs/IITs on the basis of JEE-Main 2023 or JEE-Advance 2023 score if the criteria of 75% gets restored in 2023 and you have not secured 75% or more in board examinations of 2022.
This criteria has been relaxed due to temporary effect because of COVID-19 and if everything goes well in 2023 then this criteria might get restored.
However you will be eligible to appear for JEE-Main 2023 because to appear in JEE-Main so even if you score less than 75% marks in 10+2 or equivalent than also you can appear for JEE-Main 2023 even if the criteria gets restored but you won't be eligible for admission to NITs/IIITs/CFTIs neither you will be eligible for JEE-Advance 2023 even if you qualify JEE-Main 2023.
