IS 83 percentile in jee main is enough for obc ncl to qualify for advance?

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will qualify jee mains 2021 cut off to be eligible for hee advanced 2021 or not as cut off percentile for jee mains keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination for different shifts of the exam etc.
but when we go through previous year trends then
JEE mains 2020 qualifying CUT OFF is given below for different categories:-
* General :- 90.3765335 percentile
* GEN-EWS :- 70.2435518 percentile
* Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) :-72.8887969
* Scheduled Caste (SC) :- 50.1760245 percentile
* Scheduled Tribe (ST):- 39.0696101 percentile
* PwD :- 0.0618524 percentile

So, last year obc category student required a minimum of 72.8887969 percentile to qualifying JEE mains and be eligible for jee advanced.
So, with 83 percentile in JEE mains 2021 you have very good chance to qualify it and be eligible for JEE advanced 2021 being from OBC category
Now that,
limited time is left for jee mains 2021 , so focus on your preparation, to prepare well your jee examination, go through chapters first and your focus should be on grasping concepts , practising questions and then revising them, go through mock test paper sample papers and previous year question papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

See the qualifying cut-off percentiles which needs to be cleared by any candidate to sit in JEE-Advance is released along with the final result of JEE-Main and for JEE-Main 2021 the final result will be released after all four attempts will be completed and the final result will be on the basis of your best score amongst different attempts. However basis on previous year's cut-off trends we can help you with the expected qualifying cut-offs for this year :-
- Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
- GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile
- Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75 Percentile
- Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
- Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile
- PwD - 1-2 Percentile

So if you belongs to OBC-NCL category then on 83 percentile you will have good chances to qualify JEE-Main 2021 but still we have to wait for the JEE-Main 2021 commencement and it's result.
