You can either belong to Trichy or Warangal or do not belong to any of these 2 places. If you do not belong to NIT of the same State, you still have a quota of 50% for other State Students. The benchmark for NIT is 90%. There are other factors like your academic profile that are considered for shortlisting your profile apart from CAT score. But yes, with 90 percentile, you can expect to be shortlisted for NIT Trichy or NIT Warangal.
