Yes, to get into top iims like IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta, you should target at least  99 percentile in CAT exam while to get mediocre IIMS, you need to target at least around 95 percentile , while for baby IIMS you should target at least around 92 percentile.

---------) First you get shortlisted on the basis of your score obtained by you in CAT, your academic profile ,work experience etc
