Depending on the topic of study, level of experience and skill sets, the average yearly salary for PhD holders ranges from ₹6,00,000 to ₹12,00,000. Each young person obtaining a PhD earns an average of ₹16,73,500 per year as a professor and PhD holder. So, from a financial perspective, it is worthwhile.
