Placements for the CS branch are decent. According to what I learnt, almost all the student in CS and IT got placed. In the recent year. TCS, Infosys, Samsung and Campaign companies came for campus recruitment. The packages offered to the  students were from 3 to 5 lacs per annum.

The ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad is AICTE approved. No you would not be facing any obstacle in opting for government jobs after pursuing college. Be sure to do at least one internship in a PSU or any other govt organization and appear for GATE examination or ESE or other competitive exams for govt jobs.
