Is aerospace engineering good in amity university, noida?
AEROSPACE ENGINEERING from Amity University and some of my friend studied from there so Let me explain it to you in the following points:-
- Amity offers two courses in Aerospace i.e B.tech in Aerospace and Dual Degree (M.tech integrated 5 yrs) programme.
- There are only 2-3 experienced faculty members combining the two departments.
- The faculty is busy with themselves, they don't give attention what students want's or demands.
- The course is well designed but the teaching is not at all good especially in the Aerospace department.
- There is a mandatory 75% attendance, if you are short with only one attendance the faculty will ensure you don't get it and you are debarred in that subject.
- you are separated from ASET (Amity School of Engineering and technology) where all the fun happens.
- The only good thing in Amity is that the crowd is good, you have Domino's, CCD, mini market and everything else and not to mention a SALOON too
- There is no placement in Aerospace, the only place you land up after 4 years is if you get selected in DEFENCE or in an IT company.
- You will be going through theory all the way till 8th sem and a very little practical are provided that too in a Rolls Royce 1942 half burn scrap engine.
- You will not be provided with any Internship, you have to find it yourself.
these are the honest conversation of a student so decide by yourself, good luck and every college got some and good stuff so research more than go.
