Armed forces medical college is a public i.e., government college . It has total of 150 sets for students. Admissions will be based on NEET entrance examination. Admission to MBBS in AFMC is through All India Counselling based on NEET score. Once the NEET results are announced, AFMC will release its own cut offs and eligible Candidates can apply for the same. Then the shortlisted candidates will have to go through TOELR test, Psychological assessment test and Final Interview. The total marks scored in all these rounds are used to finalise the students for admission. In 2019, 596 was the cut off for boys and 610 was the cut off for girls. And those students who have been finalised, will have to go through a medical fitness test. And then the admission is completed.
