Hi,

20 year age is not late to start banking preparation. Infact for applying bank po exam maximum age limit is 30 and even some age relaxation are there for some categories.

Though the syllabus of such exam seems to be lengthy it is not that much difficult. With right strategy, preparation and hardwork you can achieve success in such exam.

There are number of things to do in world. Number of career opportunities. So instead of getting sad make your mindset positive. Your age is in that span of life from where you can built a strong base of your career. So start preparing without any hesitation.

Hope this helps.

All the best.

Hello,

You're still young and have a future ahead you, so there's absolutely no need tl to feel disheartened, there's no point in dwelling upon the past, the time that you've right now, make judicious use of it.

I answered you yesterday also, if you want to appear for banking exam, then start your preparation with full determination, and motivate yourself, it's something that has to come from you, no matter what words of widsom we provide you.

There are many ways to deal with things, but if you initiate the things in gradual manner, it helps.

Make small goals on a daily basis, reading newspaper everyday is the key to retain general awareness, for English I told you to refer any standard grammar books, the best is Wren and Martin, once you built your foundation on various concepts such as subject-verb agreement, tenses, prepositions, adjectives, adverbs etc, solve mock tests available offline in various sites in internet orcrefer any standard book for English such as  SP Bankshi's Objective English, for Vocab building Norman Lewis's Word Power Made Easy is the best book.

Dear Aspirant,

No, your age is absolutely fine for preparing for bank exams, infact the IBPS PO, one of the important bank exams has the age bracket at 21-30 years.

As for the reading habit, now is the best time to start reading as we are in the midst of lockdown anyone can develop a reading habit provided that he/she must be committed to it.

Start with some light and intersting reads like SAVI SHARMA, DURJOY DUTTA, these writers donot write at the level of the passages asked in the exams but you will get the gist of reading as the stories are simple and easy to read and interesting to some extent.

After you read 2-3 books, which will take around 10-14 days, you must start with some of the following titles:-

Harry Potter series
Three men and a Boat
The Kite Runner

Along these books, You must start some passage reading also like RC100. I am sure by then you will get into reading.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
