The all India quota application dates for NEET are not yet announced but it is expected that soon the medical council committee will announce the NEET counselling dates for all India quota candidates. The medical counselling committee will organised all the rounds of All India Quota. These for all India quota rounds are mentioned below:

  1. First round
  2. Second round
  3. Mop up round
  4. Stray vacancy round

These four rounds will be conducted for 15% all India quota seats. The 15% all India quota seats will also cover deemed and central universities for their 100% seats. The 15% all India quota seats will be organised for admission to MBBS, BDS, Ayush, BSc nursing courses.

Hello,

The All India Quota counseling process for seat allotment hasn't started yet due to ongoing case against the reservation alloted to OBC-NCL candidates.

The case will be heard by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and the Counseling will begin only after SC passes its verdict.

It is expected that the counseling will begin after January 6, 2022.


National Testing Agency has declared the results of NEET 2021 examination. now the All India Quota Counseling will take place for 15% seats reserved in medical colleges of all states.


MCC will conduct 4 rounds of counselling - AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up round, and AIQ stray vacancy round.


Remaining seats after completion of Round 2 will be filled in mop-up and stray vacancy round by MCC in online mode.


The four rounds will only be conducted for AIQ seats having All India character which are contributed by states for 15% UG seats.


• Fresh candidates will only be allowed in the first three rounds and not in the stray vacancy round.

• Candidates will be given an option for upgradation and free exit only in Round 1

• Candidates who join the allotted seat in Round 1 will not be allowed to resign and will be ineligible for participating in further rounds of counseling.

• Candidates who do not join the allotted seat in Round 2 will be eligible for further rounds of counselling by paying a security deposit and fresh registration in mop-up round only.


NEET 2021 AIQ Counselling process includes-

• Candidates to register themselves on official website of MCC- Medical counseling Committee-

• Fee payment- Re 1000 is to be paid by unreserved category candidates while For SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH candidates, registration fees is Rs 500.

• Choice filling of colleges candidate wishes to get admission in

• Finally seat allotment based on NEET scores, reservation criteria, and the number of seats.

A security deposit of Rs 10,000 also is to be done by students which will be refunded.


Following are the documents that will be required during counseling and original documents are to be produced-


• NEET Admit Card

• NEET Result/Rank Letter

• Class X Certificate and Marksheet

• Class XII Certificate and Marksheet

• 8 passport sized photographs (Same as the one affixed on the application form)

• NEET Seat Allotment letter

• Proof of Identity (Aadhar card/PAN card/Passport/ Driving License)

• Category Certificate (if applicable)


Following are the reservation that are given to the candidates of various categories-

• 10% seat reservation for GEN-EWS candidates, (candidates whose family income is less than Rs 8 Lakh per annum)

• 15% seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste(SC) Students.

• 7.5% seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribe (ST) students.

• 27% seats are reserved for OBC-NCL candidates only in colleges run by central government.

• 5% of seats are reserved for Person with Disability PwD. This is a horizontal reservation which means that 5% of all seats reserved for various categories are reserved for candidates with disability from that category.
