Alva's engineering college is not the best college but it is surely a good one. It offers a degree in engineering in five branches including computer science and engineering, electrical , civil , mechanical and IS engineering. Civil engineering is a good branch and is much needed in today's developing world. In this college you have to do internships on your own. Coming to placements, many companies visit Alva's during placement. These include IBM, TVM, TCS , Valtech etc. The average salary package is around 2-4 lakhs per annum. This college provides education along with co-curricular activities. It is surely not the best option but surely a good one.
