Hi Aspirant
Overall the Amity group of institutes have a fame and name when it comes to the infrastructure, exterior facilities , exposure and reputation. However, one of the biggest drawback is the high fees charged for all the programmes offered by the university. Below is an overview of Amity, Noida for interior designing course.
Infrastructure : The infrastructure of the classes are best in overall, but some blocks are not well-maintained. Drenching walls, poor air conditioning, damaged Wi-Fi, facilities like library, sports and games were world class. Food in private outlets was good enough. But the canteen food was average. Everything available on the campus and surrounding the campus is overpriced.
Faculty : A variety of Professors in the academics part of the university are available in the campus. Some are good while some are not really good. Faculty is helpful and qualified but has a mentality that students have a casual attitude. Hence, self-motivated students are the one who was concentrated by the faculty, and the rest manage to pass at the last points.
Placements : Very few companies visit the campus for designing recruitment, and the profile offered to the students isn’t great enough. The highest salary offered last year was 1.5 LPA. The only company that visited the campus was Studio HBA, and the company did not select even one candidate. The role they offered was of a draftsman. Off the campus recruitment might help you if you have performed well academically.
It is advisable that rather than thinking of Amity, you try admission in govt. colleges and reputed institutions and prepare well for their entrance exams because studying there will be worth your time, money and effort.
