is AMU providing any fashion designing courses?? if yes then what they are?? and what is eligibility ??

I would like to inform you that yes, Aligarh Muslim University offers Fashion Designing program. Like Aligarh offers B.Voc. Degree in Fashion Design & Garment Technology course of duration 3 years. And total intake for this program every year is 50. And eligibility is that candidate have Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) Examination in any stream with not less than 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board. And the minimum age is 17 years and  maximum age is 22 years only for this programme.

Selection Process-
Through Departmental Test

Test Paper-

Part A

There shall be One Objective Type Paper comprising 70 questions with the following breakup:

(a) General English 20 %
(b) General Awareness 30 %
(c) Mathematics 20%

Part B : Aptitude Test will consist of 30 questions with the following breakup:

I. Geometrical Drawing : Exercise in geometrical drawing comprising of Lines, Angles. Triangles, quadrilaterals polygons, circles, letter printing : 10% marks.

II. Memory Drawings : Free hand sketching of dresses, Jackets, Ladies purses, sandals
etc. 10 % marks.

III. General Aptitude : About famous brands of dresses, sandals, chappals etc.
(National and International) places of dresses : 5% marks.

IV. Reasoning Test : Test and Graphics : 5% marks.
