Infrastructure - The infrastructure of the college is good but not the best. It is one of the oldest departments and funding department. The labs are better, but it would be the lenient department in the college. New labs are being under construction.

Faculty - The faculties members are experienced and have good knowledge. The students gain maximum knowledge when they teach. The placements would be mostly based on the area of practical knowledge.

Placements - Compare to any other college in Tamil Nadu, CEG holds good placement records. And it varies with every department. Top recruiters are Caterpillar, L&T, many automobile companies like Hyundai, TVS, etc and software Giants also come for placement every year.

Campus life - The campus cares a lot about the students' freedom and their joy. So it conducts many tests and provides Wi-Fi for 24 hours. Many extracurricular activities will be contacted such as NCC, NSS, NSO, etc.
