Is any difference between income certificate and ews certificate. if college ask for ews certificate for verification then can I show income

Hello student,
There is a lot of difference between income and EWS certificate. Income Certificate shows just the earnings of your family or a particular person. EWS certificate is a proof that you being to the economically weaker classes. For generating EWS certificate, you must contact the local authorities like IT Department, SDM office, DM office.
