NDA is an academy which trains you for service in three forces of India - Army, Navy and Air Force. All these forces require you to be physically fit and have great stamina. It is due to the reason that you may be asked anytime to ascent difficult heights, or walk for long time.

Hence, NDA has written exam, and even physical test of 5 days for interested candidates. There are many candidates who fail the physical test, as it is considered to be very tough.

Be prepared for it, mentally and physically both.
