Yes scholarships are given by Manipal academy of higher education through its institutions like Kasturba medical College to encourage meritorious students who have excelled in academics. 2 types of scholarships will be given to students depending on their ranks in NEET examination:

1. free ship scholarship: for MBBS student taking admission with AIR 1-2000 rank in NEET; for BDS students taking admission with AIR 1-7500 rank in NEET. However students will have to pay    first year course fee including the refundable caution deposit (Rs.10, 000)

2. Merit cum means of scholarship: this is for MBBS student taking admission with AIR 2001-5000 rank in NEET; for BDS students taking admission with AIR 7501-15000 rank in NEET. This scholarship will depend on the annual income of parents. At the time of admission these students will have to produce notary attested photocopy of their income tax return form for assessment year 2019-2020 and will have to pay full one year course fee along with caution deposit (Rs.10, 000)

These scholarships are limited only to 5% of the general category intake.
