Dear aspirant....!!
People need places to live, work, play, learn, shop, and eat. Architects are responsible for designing these places. They work on public or private projects and design both indoor and outdoor spaces. Architects can be commissioned to design anything from a single room to an entire complex of buildings.
A career in architecture offers opportunities to shape, perhaps even transform the environment in which we live. The profession of architecture involves everything that influences the way in which the built environment is planned, designed, made, used and maintained.
Architects are not only involved in mainstream architectural practice but are working increasingly in occupations ranging from urban planning and property development to teaching, furniture design and disaster relief.
On a typical day an architect will:
Discuss the objectives, requirements, and budget of a project with the prospective client
Provide various predesign services which may include conducting feasibility and environmental impact studies, selecting a site, or specifying the requirements the design must meet
Prepare sketches and present ideas to a client
Develop final construction plans including aesthetics and details
Follow building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other ordinances
Continuously reviewing the planning process and suggesting modifications.
This is the main work which the architecture does.
All the best for your future!
