Is Artificial Intelligence taught properly at SRM ? What is the difference between course of (Computer Science and Engineering) and Computer Science with Artifical at SRM?
Dear aspirant,
Hope you are doing well,
Computer Science entails the study of computers and computational systems. The course covers the theory, design, development, and application of computer software and systems. Artificial Intelligence is a branch of computer science that focuses on creating intelligent machines which work as human beings.
When it comes to Artificial Intelligence scope in India, an entry-level AI professional can earn around INR 6,00,000 per annum; the mid-level and senior-level Artificial Intelligence salaries can exceed INR 50,00,000 in India, depending on the profitability of the business.
While the average salary of fresher may start at somewhere around Rs 4 lakh per annum, it can go up to Rs 9 lakh with an experience ranging between five and nine years and touch Rs 20 lakh per annum for those with an experience of 20 years and over.
Hope this information helps,
Best of luck
Certainly Aryan!
SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai offers a four-year full-time undergraduate program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Total fees for the program is INR 10 Lacs.
Their Department of Computer Science Engineering has a specially designed Artificial Intelligence Lab for its students to provide a wider approach in programming and enables to apply knowledge in latest computer algorithms, Compiler Design, Computer Networks, and Artificial Intelligence
B.Tech CSE and B.Tech CSE with AI and ML both are 4year regular and full time courses. While CSE with AI and ML provides you with specialization in AI and ML, its curriculum is perfectly designed to make students technically advance on various learning systems and platforms which are based on the algorithm of Artificial Intelligence.
Students can acquire skills in terms of application development, precision of financial rules and models, understanding purchasing patters etc. Basically the course emphasis on skill and knowledge enhancement in the two given fields.
B.Tech CSE is a widely studied comprehensive course which is offered by all engineering colleges. This course enables students to understand, learn and use different programming languages, digital and analog electronics, networking and telecommunications etc.
It also includes subjects of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in its curriculum, but definitely not in depth, as much if you go for specialization.
There is no difference in the fee structure of both the courses, i.e., INR 2.5Lacs p.a.
Since both the courses offer outstanding scope, one must choose as per his/her area of interest.
SRM has also come up with inter-disciplinary programs involving Major, Minor and Specialization. So there are various electives that you can opt for.
