Yes,For most of the courses AUEET is necessary to get admission into Andhra University.

Andhra University conducts two major exams for admission in different UG and PG courses – AUCET (for courses related to subject areas such as Science, Commerce, Humanities, Mass Communication, Teaching, etc.) and AUEET (for Engineering courses).

Besides, the university also accepts scores of other national/ state level entrance exams for UG and PG admissions . It may be noted that admission process for some of these courses requires candidates to appear for a counselling session also.

• B Pharm/ Pharm D/ M Pharm/ Pharma D (PB): The university accepts APEAMCET / APPGECET scores for admission in the pharmacy courses.
• M Tech (sponsored seats): For admission in M Tech (sponsored seats) programmes, AU accepts GATE / APPGECET scores.
• Law: The university accepts APLAWCET scores for admission in law courses offered by it.
• MBA/ MCA: For admission in MBA/ MCA courses offered at the university, AU accepts APICET scores.
