The security deposit of 10,000 is only refundable if upon a seat allocation, a candidate takes admission to the allocated college.
If in any case, upon seat allocation, the candidate refuses to join the allocated seat, then the security deposit is non refundable.
Hi Aspirant,
SInce there are two types through which you can deposit money which are refundable or non refundable.Since you have gives 10000 rupees then it falls under refundable category. You will get back your depository amount in the same account from which you paid and it will be done when the candidates join the college or he/she fails to get any seat in the counselling process.
So,Yes it is refundable.
Hope it helps!!
1. If you do not get a college in any of the rounds of counselling, the security deposit will be refunded back to you.
2. If you decide to exit a particular round of counselling, and haven't got a seat until then, even then the security deposit is refunded. (if you exit with forfeited option).
3. But if you get a seat and do not report to the college after accepting it (or vacate the seat afterwards), then the deposit will not be refunded.
