Hello Aspirant,

The choice totally depends on your interest!

B.Arch has its own scope and opportunities namely into Environmental Planning, Building Engineering, Urban Development Management, Architecture conservation, Regional Township and Country Planning, Industrial planning.

The salaries for freshers are 40percent lower on average with Engineering freshers from Btech/BE.

Junior Architect :15-20k

Junior Engineer: 25-35k

Moreover, the opportunities for B.Arch students are restricted to few sectors and hence, overall scope is limited, domestically and Internationally.

On contrary all Engineering graduate have array of jobs into all sectors namely Pharmaceutical, Telecom, Real Estate, IT, E-commerce, Metals and Mkning, Defense and Space and hence the overall demand is much higher for Btech grads specialized from top IITs, NITs, GFTIs, IIITs.

Good Luck!!
