Yes, pharmacy is a good career choice after school. However, scope of pharmacy is much more elevated abroad as compared to India. Here are the professions you can choose or scope of pharmacy :-

1. Hospital pharmacist. :You can apply for government jobs in this sector, in central hospitals, the pharmacists are highly respected and paid as well.

2. Clinical pharmacist :You can also go for clinical pharmacy after completion of your grad/post grad in this discipline.

3. Nutrition officer : Companies like Abott, nestle, sometimes hire pharmacy graduates to work as nurtrition officers with them which is also associated with growth.

4. Retail pharmacists :Many students after completing their bpharm, opt for retailing in pharmacy.

5. Professor/teacher : After doing Mpharm , and then phD, you can join any university for teaching in this discipline.

6. Pharmacovigilance:this field is still growing, and it is one of the fields that offer you growth in your professional life too.

7. Marketing : After your bpharm, you can also opt for an MBA in pharmaceutical management or even marketing, which will fetch you good jobs.

8. Medical representative: You can also work for a pharmaceutical company as their medical representative as soon as you complete your graduation.

9. Drug inspector : Various government exams are conducted for pharmacy graduates to enter the drug inspection field, which is highly rewarding and respectful.

10. Research : After Mpharm or phD, you can also enter the research and development sector. This job is respected and you need to do research work in relevance to pharmaceuticals.

Bachelor of Pharmacy is one of those courses which is chosen by many PCB students nowadays as this course has great future prospects in job opportunities and higher studies options as well. Yes , Bachelor in Pharmacy is one of the good option after pcb in 12th . As, you know medicine is a never ending thing and pharmacist will be needed to prepare it . Bachelor in Pharmacy is a best option and it also give you a license to practice medicine and drugs  sell. But for that you have to choose a right college as b.pharma is a practical based field . So choose a good college and be sure about doing it .
