Yes, it is a really good plan for your future. The NEP has enabled us students to pursue two degrees at the same time. Now this can be done in two ways-
1) Either you can enroll yourself into an integrated course that some colleges offer. This means they'll offer you a course that has a BA+ B.Ed degree, both from the regular medium.
2) The second way to go about it is to do one course in regular mode and the other in Distance mode. But this cannot be done in BA and BEd, because the eligibility criteria for BEd is that you should have a bachelor's degree before you apply for BEd.
However way you wish to go about it, a BEd course is a good investment for the future. Teachers will never go out of demand and even the salary is very good now.
