hello kiran,
hope you are doing well, now coming to your question
BAMS, of-course has the greater potential than BHMS. Ayurveda is getting an edge over allopathy etc. When it comes to graduation in Ayurvedic medical science, the students will be taught entire subjects that involve knowledge of this field, inclusive of modern science. In this course, the study load for students will be more as compared to MBBS and BHMS.
In BHMS, students will learn only some areas of modern science, while the other subjects will be mainly focusing on homeopathic medicines. When it comes to study load, it will be equal to MBBS or even slightly more as well. Here, it will be difficult for students to remember different medicines for different conditions as per homeopathic material medical.

Dear Kiran,
BAMS and BHMS is recognisable courses in India.
BAMS stands for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery.
Ayurveda is the a branch of medical care which is based upon the concepts of natural healing processes of the human body which is further enhanced by therapy of Ayurveda. BAMS course is fast emerging as a supplement to modern medicine which provides a profound knowledge of ‘Ashtanga Ayurveda’ along with scientific advances in modern medicine along with extensive practical training.
With an upsurge of countless grave health issues and limitations of allopathy, Ayurveda has emerged as an alternative. Therefore, BAMS as a medical course is gaining popularity not just in India but all over the world. With almost zero side effects, ayurveda is being increasingly opted by people all over the globe. People suffering from lifestyle diseases also seek help in the traditional art of healing which indicates the growing demand of BAMS doctors. After the completion of the BAMS course, candidates can either opt for practicing or may pursue higher studies and specialise in a particular branch of ayurveda. A BAMS graduate is required to take up one year of internship to have practical experience which is equally required for becoming a successful practitioner. Along with regular practice, a BAMS graduate can also take up specialized practice after pursuing higher education in the discipline, e.g., therapy of skin diseases, spinal disorders, ophthalmologic conditions, ano-rectal diseases, etc. So it has a very good future prospect.
BHMS stands for Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery.
Homeopathy is a different kind of system of medicine which involves treating patients with medicines made of highly diluted substances in mainly tablet form that triggers the body’s natural system of healing. BHMS course allows candidates to choose any specialization such as Homoeopathic Pharmacy, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Skin Specialist and Infertility to take care of patients with their homoeopathic study knowledge exposure.
Candidates can either work or opt for the higher studies in Homeopathy and allied areas. Candidates who wish to pursue higher studies, can also do the same in Hospital Management. Mentioned below are some of the areas in which higher studies can be done after BHMS course:
