Hello,

BCA which is bachelor of computer application is an undergraduate degree for a duration of three years, so if you pursue it from a recognized university then definitely your degree will be valid and you will be eligible to appear for probationary officers post in banking exams or even SSC CGL for that matter because the eligibility criteria for both is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, however in case of SSC CGL there are three specific posts which have different criteria as in having maths at 10+2 level or statistics in three years of  graduation or in AAO where post graduation in commerce, economics, finance, CA, CS etc is desirable. So, to answer your question  with BCA degree there are multiple options regarding government job exams.
