Is B.Des (Communication design) from banasthally equal to b.tech or b.a?

B.Des in communication design at Banasthally is a 4 year course and is hence considered more than just B.A. but whether it is considered to btech is not apparent as such. Communication design which is interdisciplinary and includes both designing and information development and is a course in demand these days. You can get ito a technical field job after this which is no less than the jobs fetched by B.tech graduates.
