Difference between BE and BTech are as follows :

1)

A graduate-level programme is the bachelor of engineering. After completing the tests for the 12th grade, you can enrol in this course. After completing your plus two, you often have to sit for a state- or country-level engineering admission test. These tests are the entrance points for the numerous undergraduate B.E. programmes that various universities and institutes provide.

After passing your 12th grade board exams, you can enrol in a Bachelor of Technology graduate programme. You must pass an admission exam at the state or national level to be admitted to a bachelor of technology programme. You can enrol in the many bachelor's degree programmes in technology provided by various universities and institutes by passing these common admission exams.

2)

The primary goal of B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering Programs) is to give students the theoretical information necessary to advance technology and create new technical devices.

Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) programmes often feature application- and skill-based coursework. Their main goal is to help the learner comprehend the technology that underlies how gadgets function so that they may improve or adjust how well they function.

3)

Courses in B.E. programmes are knowledge-based and place a strong focus on the theoretical portion of the curriculum.

The courses in B.Tech degrees are skill-based. They place a lot of emphasis on the curriculum's practical components.

Similarities between B.E. and B.Tech. Degrees

  • B.E. and B.Tech are recognised equally since AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) does not regard them as two distinct programmes.
  • Both B.E. and B.Tech programmes last four years, which is the same for both degrees.
  • There are 8 semesters total for both the B.E. and B.Tech programmes, with 2 semesters every year.
  • Both B.E. and B.Tech courses would cover the same material, albeit their approaches may vary. However, compared to the majority of other Engineering universities, the courses given by institutions like IIT and NIT could be of a better quality.
  • Students with either a B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) or a B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) degree have equal prospects and a considerable scope for employment in the market. It won't in any way prevent you from making progress in your job.
  • The college, employment opportunities there, teachers, industry partnerships, and the stream are the only differentiating factors that will matter in one's early career. Once a student with a B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) or B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) degree joins a firm, his or her advancement depends entirely on how well they do there.
