Yes, BFA and BVA are different degrees. BFA is sub branch of BVA. But they seems to be similar in many ways but there are differences as well, film making is included in BCA but not in BFA. BVA is software oriented and BFA is more hand art.
BFA stands for Bachelor of Fine Arts where as BVA full form is Bachelor of Visual Arts. BFA deals with animation, literature, sculpture, etc. Where as BVA deals with film, print media, photography, art history, etc .
