is biology compulsory for getting admission in bsc agriculture?
No, biology is not required for Bsc students. You can take the ICAR exam whether you have a degree in math or biology. Students with specializations in math and biology are chosen based on their qualifications and ranks, and the counselling procedure is likewise distinct for each group. However, if your expertise is in math, you will only be asked questions about physics, chemistry, and algebra; similarly, those studying biology will be asked questions about biochemistry and other subjects. Finally, your rank is determined by your overall score.
Hope this will help you
Thank you
Most of the colleges and universities in India ask for biology alongwith Physics and Chemistry as a subject in 10 + 2 class level for being eligible for admission to Bachelor of Science Agriculture. But there are some colleges and universities as well which don't ask for biology as a subject in 10+2 for being eligible for bachelor of science agriculture. The eligibility criteria of these some colleges is to complete 10+2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects. The candidate must have also secured at least 50% marks in the aggregate for being eligible for fully admission.
