Is biomedical course have scope? If it has then what are the places where we can work

Biomedical in India is still a growing and a vast field. It provides solutions to medical problems using technology.
And yes, there is a scope in this field but its success or failure will depend upon your own interest and acquired right skills.
First of all, there is a research scope for which you will need to qualify GATE.
There are a few Job Scopes like -
1 . R&D- Generally the R&D companies hire employees through campus placements from a small group of colleges. Good luck for that. The health tech industry in Andhra & Telangana is a bright prospect in future when it comes to R&D opportunities.
2 . Service- You get to learn a lot about the internal functioning of various medical devices.
3 . Application Engineer- They work hand in hand with sales team to explain to customers the working of any medical devices.
4 . Sales Engineer- Sales of medical equipment are handled by the sales engineer
5 . Hospital Engineer- Every big hospital has a Biomedical department in which there are typically 5–6 engineers who are responsible to attend to emergency breakdown of any medical equipments.
