Dear Rashmi
No, the marks of Class 12 Boards will not be considered to determine your merit at the time of NEET 2018 counselling. The marks scored in Class 12 are only considered to determine whether or not you are eligible to appear for NEET, not beyond that.
As per the eligibility criteria of NEET 2018, candidates are required to pass the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually at Class 12 level and must have scored 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology when considered together. So, as far as the counselling is concerned, your Class 12 marks will only be consulted to ensure that you are eligible for NEET 2018.
Hope it clears your query.
All the best!
Hello Rashmi,
NEET results will be declared on 5th june 2018 and the counsilling will start from 12th june 2018. I am sorry to say no board exam marks are considered at the time of counsiling. The class 12th Boards marks does not have any impact on the medical aspirant's position in the merit list of the medical colleges. They are only needed to help you appear for the exam.
